Jeff has spent his entire adult life in the pursuit of musical excellence. The owner  of Canyon Music, he is a Grammy nominated  producer who owns his own  recording studio where some of the very best players in the professional music world come to play and record from as far as Philly and New York City. His dedication to providing the best in his studio also extends to his commitment  on the bench as a world class amp/ and keyboard tech. Married with a wonderful young daughter he lives for his music and his family. you can count on Jeff to get it right the first time around!!
Playing music his whole life, CJ entered the USAF and played in the well known NORAD COMMAND BAND in Colorado springs in the mid 70”s. Upon his discharge, CJ played with several bands while living in Philadelphia and attended the Eastern School of Musical Instrument Repair, graduating with honors.Over the next decade CJ earned his living as a police officer in his home town of ROSELLE, NJ. When he was injured he retired and began his journey as a guitar tech by attending SOUTH PLAINS STATE COLLEGE in Levelland, Texas. Graduating in 1993 CJ opened RARITAN BAY GUITAR REPAIR IN FREEHOLD, NJ AND OVER THE NEXT 25 YEARS BUILT UP THE LARGEST AND BUSIEST SHOP ON THE EAST COAST. After his partner Kyle bought the business from CJ he moved to his current location at JERSEY SHORE GUITAR AND AMP REPAIR, IN TOMS RIVER NJ.CJ loves jazz and bluegrass and is a jazz vocalist who works on a limited but steady basis..
Patrick “PJ” Civitano
This young man is new to the trade but already making waves and doing quality work. Having graduated high school in 2017 he attended the Eastern School of Fretted Instrument Repair located in Freehold, NJ and upon graduation accepted a position as a full-time apprentice/tech at Jersey Shore Guitar and Amp Repair located in Toms River, NJ.
Learning under the watchful eye of Joe “CJ” Civitano, the owner of Jersey Shore Guitar and Amp Repair and the founder of both Raritan Bay Guitar Repair and the Eastern School of Fretted Instrument Repair, PJ has already mastered the art of the set up and fret dress and understands the nuances that attend working on instruments for various players always aware of their individual needs. We look for great things from this young man.
